Privacy Policy

1.Information We Collect

We collect the information you give us when you create an account, set up your profile, and use Voux.

• Account information: your name, email address, and the unique user ID our backend assigns to you. These are required for authentication and for the app to work.
• Profile and style information: the answers you give during setup, such as age range, body type, gender (optional), location, style preferences, and favourite colours.
• Photos you upload: full-body photos used to build your avatar, and clothing or wardrobe photos you add when scanning your closet.
• Wardrobe details you enter: item names, categories, brands, and prices you attach to items for cost-per-wear tracking.
• Styling and moodboard inputs: occasions, destinations, and vibes you type in, plus the outfits and moodboards the app generates for you.
• Location for weather: the location you enter or allow, used only to show local weather on your dashboard.

2.How We Use Information

Your information is used to run the features you asked for, and nothing else.

• Create and secure your account, and keep you signed in.
• Build and display your wardrobe, avatar, and outfit history.
• Generate outfit and moodboard suggestions tailored to your style and occasion.
• Show weather and trend context on your dashboard.
• Calculate cost-per-wear and other wardrobe insights you choose to view.
• Respond to support requests and keep the service working reliably.

3.AI Features

Voux uses third-party AI models to suggest outfits, plan travel moodboards, and describe styling options.

To produce those results, the AI service receives the inputs you provide for that request — for example your style preferences, the occasion or destination you typed, and metadata about the wardrobe items involved, such as category, colour, brand, and name.

AI suggestions are generated for you and are not a guarantee of fit, availability, or suitability. You stay in control of what you wear, save, or remove.

4.Uploaded Photos

Photos you upload stay associated with your account and are used to deliver the features you use.

• Wardrobe photos are stored so your closet can be browsed, edited, and reused when generating outfits and moodboards.
• A full-body photo can be used to build your avatar, so outfits can be previewed on a representation of you.
• Photos are used for wardrobe management, AI-powered styling recommendations, outfit generation, moodboards, and personalisation.
• You can delete an item, and its photo, from the Wardrobe screen at any time. Moodboard images you generate can be removed individually.
• We do not use your uploaded photos to train third-party AI models, and we do not display them publicly.

5.Authentication and Service Providers

Voux supports email and password sign-in as well as third-party sign-in providers such as Google and Apple.

When you sign in with a third party, that provider shares your name and email address with us so we can create or recognise your account. Their own privacy notice covers what they do with your data before that handoff.

Voux runs on Supabase and Lovable Cloud services, which provide authentication, database, file storage, and backend processing on our behalf. AI styling requests are processed through an AI model provider. These providers act as service providers: they handle data only as needed to deliver Voux to you, under their agreements with us.

6.Data Sharing

Voux does not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information, email address, user ID, name, or uploaded photos for cross-app or cross-website advertising tracking.

We share information only in these limited situations:

• With the service providers described above, to operate authentication, storage, database, and AI features.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of Voux, our users, or the public.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where the transferred data remains covered by this policy.
• With your explicit permission, for anything else.

7.Data Retention

We keep your account, profile, wardrobe, avatar, and moodboard data for as long as your account is active, so you do not have to re-enter it each time you return.

When you delete an item, a moodboard image, or your account, we remove that data from active storage. Information may briefly remain in encrypted backups or system logs before those copies expire, and we may retain minimal records where we are legally required to do so.

8.Data Security

Access to your data is restricted by design: your wardrobe, avatar, profile, and moodboard records are scoped to your own user ID, so other signed-in users cannot read them.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls managed by our backend provider.

No system is completely secure. We work to keep your information protected, and we ask you to keep your password private and sign out on shared devices.

9.User Choices and Account Deletion

You control most of your information directly inside Voux:

• Edit your profile answers, style preferences, and favourite colours during or after setup.
• Add, rename, reprice, or delete wardrobe items and their photos from the Wardrobe screen.
• Remove moodboard images individually from the Moodboards screen.
• Change or withdraw browser permissions, such as camera or location access, in your device settings.
• Request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it, by emailing mehrgala@gmail.com. Account deletion removes your authentication records, stored wardrobe and avatar photos, and related app data.

10.Children's Privacy

Voux is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we take steps to delete it. Parents and guardians who believe a child has shared information with us can contact us at the address below.

11.Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Voux grows or as our services change. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you through the app or by email where we have your address. Continued use of Voux after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
